Bulk Plus Logistics 

Bulk Plus Logistics offerings include transloading operations, distribution management services and freight brokerage services. In 2007, Bulk Plus Logistics had revenues of approximately $20.8 million, representing approximately 6 percent of Trimac's consolidated revenues for 2007. Bulk Plus Logistics allows customers to focus on their core competencies – a major trend among North American industries – allowing them to outsource non-core services such as transportation and related functions.

Transloading Operations: Transload facilities operated by Bulk Plus Logistics transfer bulk products from railcars into a tank or other trailer, then complete the final delivery to the customer by truck. Bulk Plus Logistics operates transloading facilities in Canada and the United States. 

Distribution Management Services: Distribution management services involve management of a customer's distribution and supply chain, including inventory management and arranging for transportation services. Customers typically engage Bulk Plus Logistics as their outsourced traffic and distribution manager. Bulk Plus Logistics manages freight distribution for cement plants located in the United Sates.

Freight Brokerage Services: Freight brokerage services involve the brokering of transportation services on behalf of shippers in both the bulk transportation and general freight transportation segments of the trucking industry. Bulk transportation brokering is complementary to Trimac's bulk transportation operations by permitting Bulk Plus Logistics to meet a customer’s needs at times when Trimac’s bulk transportation operations are unavailable to provide the required services. In addition, Bulk Plus Logistics provides brokerage services to its clients for product movements throughout North America.
