What are the advantages of an Income Fund?  Investors purchase units in income funds to benefit from their regular distributions. Income funds are generally stable and prudently managed investments. This structure is very well suited to mature companies with predictable cash flow.

When does Trimac Income Fund pay its distributions?  Unitholders are paid a monthly distribution. The record date of a distribution is the last business day of the month and the payment date is the 15th of the following month, or the immediate business day after if the 15th falls on a weekend or statutory holiday.

Will Trimac Income Fund be able to maintain its current level of distributions?  It is the objective of Trimac management to maintain the current level of distributions. The Fund generates cash flow that is generally stable, predictable and recurring. However, unforeseen events could potentially alter this plan and distributions may, as a result, be increased, decreased, or suspended.

Have the Trimac Income Fund units split?  If so, when? No, the Trimac Income Funds units have not split.  

When is Trimac Income Fund’s fiscal year end? The fiscal year end corresponds with the calendar year end on December 31.

How are Trimac Income Fund’s distributions treated for income tax purposes?   A unit holder will generally be required to include in computing income for a particular taxation year the portion of the income of the fund for a taxation year, including taxable distributions and net capital gains, that is paid or becomes payable to the Unitholder in that particular taxation year.

What are the tax implications for foreign investors? There is a holdback exercised by the transfer agent or broker through whom foreign investors acquire the Fund’s trust units, and income tax is payable on income earned from distributions according to the tax system in effect in the foreign investor’s country of residence.

Does Trimac Income Fund offer a Distribution Reinvestment Plan?  No, not at this time.  

Does Trimac Income Fund pay dividends?  No, the Income Fund pays only cash distributions.
